What Can We Do For You
Whether you are creating a new range of living accommodation, maintaining estates or have older homes to refurbish, we will take care of the entire process for you - ensuring that changes are made sensitively, with both the environment and community in mind.
Construction
We build new homes - but, more often, we give a new lease of life to existing ones, whatever their age or condition.
Our prime objective is to produce housing that lasts, requires little outlay to maintain, and is easy to let or sell - from 'general needs' properties, to supported housing and retirement accommodation. That usually means consulting with residents and offering choice - decor, colour, fabric, specification, even layout - something we've done on virtually every major 'new build' and refurbishment project.
And we're committed to innovation. In Braunstone, Leicester, for example, where we refurbished 220 homes, we recycling up to 80% of the waste generated, thanks to a ground-breaking partnership with Environ, an environmental charity.
Regeneration
With decades of proven experience between them, our team can handle almost any construction project, large or small.
We're particularly proud of 'Highpoint' - a £6m state-of-the-art conference and training centre which opened in Leicester in Spring 2002, to national acclaim. Originally St. Catherine's Chapel and Convent, we carefully retained the historical features of the building and added a number of modern facilities - 28 en-suite bedrooms, restaurant, glass reception area and achieved the highest disabilty accessibility standards possible.
Maintenance
Unlike many firms, we think our maintenance and property services are important enough to warrant their own staff - Newlife staff, not those of sub-contractors.
By offering a skilled direct labour force, equipped with technologically advanced resources, we're in a better position to offer a consistently high quality service - and more efficient work scheduling.

Refurbishment
We have thoughtfully refurbished a number of older homes, residential estates and disused factories - bringing them back to their former glory and helping improve the standard of living for people in the region's communities.
One example of this was the refurbishment of a derelict 19th Century shoe factory in Wellingborough to provide 21 high quality, rented homes for local people.
When we refurbished 220 former British Coal homes in North Nottinghamshire/North East Derbyshire, we won a national partnership award from ROOM (the National Council for Housing & Planning) for our environmental work with the charity Groundworks Ashfield and Mansfield.
